The Sion is the first standard solar car that additionally charges its battery through the sun, enabling 30 kilometers of range can be generated daily by solar energy. Solar cells have been integrated into the bodywork.  Sono Motors offer a monthly battery rate or an upfront battery purchase for approximately €4.000. Thanks to the technology of bidirectional charging the Sion can not only generate but also provide energy. This feature turns the car into a mobile power station. For air filtering the Sion integrates a special moss into the dashboard. It filters up to 20% of the fine dust particles and has a regulating effect on the humidity inside the car.
